Grievance Redressal
We take reader complaints seriously. This page explains how to raise a grievance about anything we have published, and who to contact. It is provided in keeping with the spirit of India's applicable rules for digital publishers.
What you can raise a grievance about
- Factual errors in an article.
- Content you believe is unfair, defamatory or violates your privacy.
- Use of an image or material you hold rights to.
- Content you believe is offensive, harmful or otherwise inappropriate.
How to submit a grievance
Please send your complaint with as much detail as possible, including:
- The exact link (URL) of the article or content.
- A clear description of your concern and what you would like us to do.
- Any supporting evidence (for factual errors or rights claims).
- Your name and a contact email or phone number so we can respond.

How we handle your complaint
We aim to acknowledge every grievance within 36 hours of receiving it and to resolve it as quickly as reasonably possible, typically within 15 days. If we need more information from you, we will ask. If we decide no change is warranted, we will explain our reasoning.
Outcomes
Depending on the complaint, outcomes may include correcting or clarifying the article (see our Corrections Policy), adding context or a right of reply, removing specific material where justified, or explaining why the content meets our standards and will remain.
